Charles Lipsy, 75, of 7614 Northfield Lane, Manlius, died Thursday at the Jewish Home of Central New York.
Mr. Lipsy was a life resident of the Syracuse area. He retired in 1975 as co-owner of Lipsy Brothers Furniture, a company he co-founded.
Mr. Lipsy was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, the National Retail Furniture Dealers Association and the Old Boys Association of the Syracuse Boys Club.
Surviving are his wife, Lillian; a son, Donald of Coral Springs, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Daryl Hurwitz of Manlius; a brother, Clement of DeWitt; a sister, Irene Davidson of DeWitt; and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Sunday at Birbaum Funeral Chapel, Rabbi Charles S. Sherman and Cantor Harold Lerner officiating. Burial will be in Frumah Packard Cemetery .
