NICHOLAS FISCHER 64 Passes Away At His Home
VERONA Dec. 10 - Nicholas Fischer, 64, died at 1 p.m. Sunday at his home here.
He was born at Chicago, January 30, 1870. He and his family moved here from Minnesota in 1923. He was a mason by trade.
Surviving besides his widow is a son, John, at home; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Englebrecht of Munnsville; and a sister, Mrs. Anna Keck, of Blue Island, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at his late home here on Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Theodore Kuehn, pastor of St. John's E. L. Church, of Rome officiating. Burial will be made in Verona Cemetery.
