REXBURG - Mrs. Katherina Neiwirth Bishoff, 83, died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nels Hansen, after a short illness.
She came to the United States from Russia in 1906 and settled in Kansas. They later moved to Colorado and then to Rexburg in 1911. Her husband died in 1907.
She was the mother of 11 children, six of whom survive as follows: Mrs. Katie Haus, Rexburg; Henry Bishoff, Sugar City; Mary Holstine, Conrad, Montana, Dave Bishoff, Idaho Falls, Mollie Hansen, Rexburg, and Fred Bishoff, Rexburg; 34 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held in the Rexburg Community Church Monday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Sugar City Cemetery.
