The funeral of the late Mrs. Mathilda Jonas was held from St. Paul's Lutheran church Saturday afternoon when Rev. Telschow delivered the obituary sermon and heartened the mourners with words of consolation. Following the service the remains were laid at rest in the Union cemetery.
Because of the great distance her daughter, Mrs. Grant, could not attend the last rites, all other members of the family were present.
