Ruth, a daughter of Mathilda Hummel and Gottlieb Joachim was born October 07, 1912, at Danzig, North Dakota. She and Daniel E Hoff were married in rural Eureka, South Dakota, July 09, 1935. They farmed seven miles northeast of Eureka from 1935 to 1969 when they moved into Eureka. They were members of the United Church of Christ.
Survived by her husband; two sons; eight sisters; two brothers; and several grandchildren.
Preceded in death by parents, five sisters and two brothers.
