Samuel Kammerer, died March 21, 1963, and is buried next to his first wife, Helen Katherine Litz, in Sacramento, California. Samuel had a brain tumor removed and seemed to be getting along fine. Six months later the malignancy started up again causing his death.
Samuel Kammerer and Goldie Wassemiller were married December 26, 1951, at her parents' home on a farm near Monument, Kansas. After their marriage they moved to California and settled in their home on Perkins Way in Sacramento. A few years later they bought a new home on Roeder Way.
Goldie lived afew years in Sacramento after his death and then moved with their two sons to her parents' rural Monument, Kansas, home, to live with her older brother, Levi Wassemiller.
