The German Methodist Episcopal Church of Muscatine, Muscatine County, Iowa baptismal records May 1851 to June 1912 has her name listed as Catharina Gruen, as the parent with Christian Heppe for the baptism of their daughter Emma Catharina Heppe, however, her head stone at Greenwood Cemetery definitely says Katharina, so perhaps she "Americanized" her name? I don't know. Also, the marriage license for Christian and Katharina has her name as Catharine Green.
