He came to America in early manhood and settled near Sibley where he worked at his trade of carpenter and followed the vocation until his death. He was a peaceful, industrious citizen.
Surviving, besides his wife Ella, were children were Chas. Norman, Frankfort, SD, Fred Norman, Seattle, WA, John Norman, Fort Wayne, IN, Mrs. H. H. Frederking, Sibley, Mrs. Floyd Hool, Harpster, Miss Nellie Norman, Seattle, WA and Anna Norman, Chicago. Surviving sisters were Mrs. Peter Anderson, Strawn, Mrs. Chs. Nygren, Barrett, MN and Mrs. Louisa Walman, Warberg, Sweden.
Funeral services were held at the home of the deceased, Rev. Frykman, of Gibson City, officiating.
