Virginia Goodman Raymond, 84, of La Crescenta, Calif., was called by our Lord on April 29, 2014.
She was raised in her younger life on family farms and educated in rural schools. Virginia, her sister and brother played and sang Western music at an early age. She played big bass fiddle. After graduating from beauty school, she and a friend moved to California. There, she met Russell Raymond, married in 1954. She was a beauty operator until retirement.
She is survived by her sister, Caroline Lenhardt; brothers, Jim (Betty) Goodman and Johnny Goodman; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell; mother and father; sister-in-law and brother-in-law.
Cremation has taken place.
