Lee Center - It was with sadness that the people of this place learned of the death of Mrs. Ruth Cook, which occurred at her late home at about 1 o'clock this morning. She had been a patient sufferer for several years but not until the last few months did she give up hope. Mrs. Cook was born and had always lived in this town. She passed her 69th birthday the 5th of this month. Left to mourn her loss are four children, W. E. Cook and J. Howard Cook of Rome, and Clarence J. Cook and Miss Harriet Cook of Lee Center. Also a sister, Mrs. Fanny Dopp of Rome and a brother, Clark Johnson of Grafton Center. A devoted, noble mother, her loss in the home is irreparable, and the deep sympathy of the entire community is extended to the relatives. The funeral will be held at the family residence on Sunday.
