Dale Doehrmann, was born August 20, 1947, near Williamsburg, Iowa, the son of Rudolph and Loretta Anna(Glandorf)Doehrmann. He grew up near Williamsburg and lived in Iowa county his whole life. Dale worked as a welder at Kinze Manufacturing. Dale enjoyed fishing, working on old tractors, welding, spending time in the shop. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church. Dale died on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at his home, near North English, at the age of 66 years. He is survived by his children: Ben(Jessica)Doehrmann of Des Moines, IA, Andy(Tekla)Doehrmann of Gilbert, AZ. and Tracie(Bill)Watkins of Chandler, AZ; granddaughter Emma Doehrmann; 4 brothers: Orville Doehrmann, Earl Doehrmann, Ronald Doehrmann, Verne Doehrmann and Larry Doehrmann; 3 sisters; Alice Grisham, Lorraine Grimm and Kathy Rudin,

He was preceded by his parents; an infant son Ryan; a sister Ethel Hull and 2 brothers: Dean Doehrmanmnm and Earl Dopehrmann.

Celebration of life Service will be 10:30 am on Saturday, May 31, 2014, at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Williamsburg. Rev. Richard Meyer will officiate. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, from 4-7 pm at the Powell Funeral Home, Williamsburg. A general memorial fund has been established.
