Verne Arnold Doehrmann was born April 10, 1938 in Rural Williamsburg, Iowa, the son of Rudolph and Loretta (Glandorf) Doehrmann. He graduated from Williamsburg High School. Verne was united in marriage to Lois Koch on March 11, 1978, at St. Paul Methodist Church in Williamsburg. Verne worked for Chipman Feed & Grain. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports, fishing and working in his garden. Verne passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City at the age of 84 years.
He is survived by four children, 6 grandchildren , 4 great grandchildren, 3 brothers Orville, Ronald and Larry Doehrmann; 3 sisters Alice Lorraine and Kathy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lois "Pepsi", 3 brothers Dean Doehrmann, Earl Doehrmann and Dale Doehrmann and a sister Ethel Hull.
A Celebration of Life Service will be 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Williamsburg.
