Irene Gerling, nee Wilczynski, 81, formerly of Elmwood Park, died April 1 in Meadow Brook Manor Care Nursing Home.
Mrs. Gerling was born June 14, 1921, in Chicago.
She was a homemaker and the wife of the late Adam G.; mother of Carol (David) Mirowski and Linda (Richard) Allard; grandmother of Andrea and Vincent Allard; sister of Veronica Wilczynski, Helen Mulzof, Edward Wilczynski and the late Frank Wilczynski and Dorothy Welenowski.
Visitation was held Feb. 4 in the Lewis Funeral Home, Elmwood Park. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated April 5 in St. Celestine Church, Elmwood Park. Interment was in Maryhill Cemetery, Niles.
