Mrs. Henry J. Westfahl, 72, of the town of Chilton, died Sunday at Calumet Memorial Hospital. She had been hospitalized four days.

The former Vera Maas, she was born in Chilton, March 6, 1890, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Maas. Her marriage to Mrs. Westfahl took place at Ebenezer United Church of Christ, Chilton Nov. 26, 1919.

Following their marriage the couple operated a farm near Chilton continuing to live there.

Mrs. Westfahl was a member of the Women’s Guild of Ebenezer Church, Morning Star Rebekah Lodge and Better Homes Homemaker Club.

Surviving are her husband; a son, Franklin, on the home farm, and a brother, Fred Maas, R. 3, Chilton. A sister preceded her in death.

Services were held in Ebenezer Church with the Rev. Quentin Moeschberger, pastor officiating. Burial was in Hillside Cemetery, Chilton.
