Mrs. Edgar Piper, 65, Park Street, Chilton, died unexpectedly Tuesday at St. Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac, where she had been a patient one day. She had been in ill health the past two years.
Mrs. Piper, nee Meta Maas, was born in Chilton, May 17, 1888, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Maas. She was a member of the Ladies Aid of the Ebenezer Evangelical and Reformed church. She was married to Edgar Piper at Chilton by Rev. W. Arpke, Nov. 26, 1914.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Lester, Milwaukee; one brother, Fred Maas, Chilton; one sister, Mrs. Henry Westphal, town of Chilton; and one grandchild.
Rev. Orval Egbert, pastor of the Ebenezer Evangelical and Reformed church will officiate at services and Burial will be in Hillside cemetery.
