Bessie Mae (Wolfinger) Kimmel, 102, died at the Hospitality House in Bedford on December 6, 2001.
She was a homemaker.
She was born January 6, 1899 in Bedford to Christian and Minnie Bowman Wolfinger. She married Clinton Jacob Kimmel on October 16, 1920.
She is survived by five sons, Charles, and George of Springville, Jack, James and Lloyd of Bedford, two daughters, Alice Marie Kozik of Pensacola, Florida and Genevieve 'Jenny' Armstrong of New Bern, N.C.194 Grandchildren, great grandchilden and great, great grandchildren and great,great, great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three brothers, Fred, John and Andy Wolfinger; two sons, John and Robert Kimmel. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 1:30 Sunday at Day & Carter Mortuary. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery in Bedford. Friends may call from 2-8 pm Saturday and from 12:30 pm until the time of service on Sunday at the mortuary.
