Former Lodi Man Taken
Peter Schlichting, 45, of Berkeley, died in his home Saturday following a short illness. Mr. Schlichting was a former resident of Lodi where his father was a minister.
Mr. Schlichting is survived by widow, Margaret, a son, Donald and a daughter, Joyce, all of Berkeley.
The deceased was the son of the Rev. John M. Schlichting and the late Mary S. Schlichting of Fresno. He was the brother of Mrs. Mary K. Hilburn of Los Angeles, John S. Schlichting of Georgetown, Mrs. Elizabeth Reimer of Dallas, Ore.; Sam S. Schlichting of Stockton, Martin K. Schlichting of Richmond and the late Mrs. Dina Henrichs and Mrs. Leah Henrichs.
