Gary VanStreader, 63, of Toledo and formerly of Bowling Green passed away Wednesday July 2, 2014. Gary was born in Bowling Green to the Edward and Jean (Loe) VanStreader. Gary is survived by his daughter Kathryn Holland-Spencer of Swanton, his mother Jean VanStreader of Bowling Green; two grandchildren: Katelyn Spencer and Zachary Sayen; great-grandson Logan and brother Craig VanSteader of Custar. He was preceded in death by his father Edward and his sister Sandra Pelka. Gary enjoyed biking, using his Ham Radio and the Nature Conservancy in Toledo. He was a generous individual who would help anyone in their time of need. He was a good listener and truly loved his family, especially his grandchildren who were his pride and joy. A Celebration of Life Service in Gary honor will be on Monday July 7, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the DECK-HANNEMAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, 1460 W. Wooster St., Bowling Green, Ohio 43402, where visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Memorial Contributions in Gary's honor may be made to the Nature Conservancy or to the family.
