CATHERINE MARTELL
Mrs. William Martell, 71, of 1961 Roosevelt Ave, Two Rivers, died Monday morning at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital where she had been a patient since Tuesday.
Funeral services will be at 8:30 a.m. Thursday at Klein and Stangel, Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, and at 9 a.m. with a solemn requiem high mass at St. Mark Catholic Church. The Rev. Alvin Auer, pastor of St. Agnes Church, Green Bay, a nephew, will be celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Two Rivers.
Mrs. Martell, nee Catherine Pupeter, was born at Two Rivers, April 16, 1886, daughter of the late Albert and Catherine Kohler Pupeter. She was married Nov. 15, 1903 at St. Charles, Ill., to William Martell.
Surviving are the husband, a son, Robert of Two Rivers; three sisters, Mrs. ___ ___, Mrs. John Pelnar and Mrs. Tina Pupeter of Two Rivers; a brother, Fred of Two Rivers, and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m.
