John M. Seljan, 60, former resident of Brillion, died at his Reedsville home Thursday morning following a lingering illness
Mr. Seljan was born in 1890 in Austria and came to this country in 1907. He moved to Wisconsin in 1926 and lived 12 years at Brillion before moving one year ago to Reedsville. He married the former Miss Louise Remus in 1910, and
was field manager of the Menominee Sugar company, Green Bay, 22 years.
Funeral services will be held at 9:15 a.m. Monday at the Reedsville funeral home, Reedsville, and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Reedsville, Rev. William Koutnik officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Alfred Kinast and Miss Millie, both of New Holstein, and Miss Jenny at home, five sons, Rudy of Brillion, Emil and Frank, both of Cleveland, O., John of Los Angeles, Calif., and Joseph
with the armed forces, 11 grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Reedsville funeral home from Saturday afternoon until the time of services. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
