Henry Butherus services held Sunday, Nov. 4

Henry Butherus of Bartley, Nebr. died Thursday morning at his home. He was born Sept. 26, 1876, in Walter, Russia. He was married to Katherine Gies, Feb. 18, 1900 at Lincoln. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Bartley.

Among the survivors are his widow; six daughters, Mrs. Rose Cook, of Culbertson, Mrs. Elsie Davis of Yampa, Colo., Mrs. Frieda Riemer of Hale, Mo., Mrs. Marie Vincent of Ada, Okla., Mrs. Lillian Herman, Culbertson, and Mrs. Louise Cattlet of Brookfield, Ill.; one son, Raymond of Yuma, Colo.; 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Methodist church. A Masonic service was held at the Bartley Cemetery. Rev. Jack T. Davis presided.—Indianola News, Nov. 28, 1957
