Damon Gayle Black, 65, of Bonne Terre passed away May 24, 2005, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. He was born September 13, 1939 at Bonne Terre.

Preceded in death by parents, August and Mildred (Blanton) Black; brothers: one in infancy and George "Brownie" Black; sisters: Carolyn "Kay" Wigger; Sharon Loafman, and Virginia Smith.

Survived by wife, Helen (McKinney) Black; children: Rick Black; Dave Black; Debbie (Mrs. Chuck) Penn, all of Bonne Terre. Four grandsons; one granddaughter; brothers and sisters: Joyce (Bill) White; Frank (Judy) Black; Homer (Andrea) Black; Michael " Bo" (Debbie) Black; Lindell Black; Maggie Johnston, very dear friend Porter Wagoner and Dearest employee and friend Theresa AuBuchon.

Visitation: Thursday from 4 p.m. at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home, Desloge.
Service: Friday at 1 p.m. at C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel, Desloge, with Bro. Randy Black and Rev. Alan Berry.

Interment: Bonne Terre Cemetery.
