Andrew Nickolas Distel, 64, of Railroad Street, Graytown, died yesterday in St. Charles Hospital.
He was a truck dispatcher 15 years at Edward Kraemer & Som, Clay Center, retiring in 1984. Before that, he was employed 23 years at Erie Army Depot, and five years at Stokley’s. He was an army veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Leona Distel; daughter, Dianna Hanthorn; sons, Andrew Jr. and Thomas; sisters, Mrs. Agnes Brown, Mrs. Mary Tomor, Mrs. Rosie Sievert, Mrs. Katie Detzel, Mrs. Barb Hemminger, Mrs Mildred Vassil and five grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church. The body will be in the Robinson-Henn-Brossia Morturay after 7 p.m. today, where prayer services will be held at 8 p.m. tomorrow.
The family requests that any contributions be to the American Cancer Society, Ottawa County chapter.
