Catherine Lohr, 91, formerly of Maybee, died at 12:30 this morning in Frenchtown Convalescent Center, where she had been for 10 months. She had been in poor health a year. Friends may call after 7 tonight in the Liedel Funeral Home, Maybee, where the rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. Sunday. Services will be at 9:45 a.m. in the funeral home and at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Maybee. The Rev. Casimir Wiercioch will officiate and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Maybee. Born Feb. 4, 1894, in Raisinville Township, she was the daughter of William and Amanda (Maul) Leibold. She was married June 26, 1939 to Charles Lohr in Our Lady Gate of Heaven Catholic Church in Melvindale. Mr. Lohr died May 23, 1974. Mrs. Lohr was a member of St. Joseph Church, Maybee; its Christian Ladies Sodality, and its Little Flower Guild. She is survived by a step-daughter, Emmabelle Roberts, of Carleton, and a brother, Leo M. Leibold of Monroe. She was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters. Memorials may e made to St. Joseph Church in Maybee.
