MESA, Ariz. — Edward A. Richter, 93, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Mount Carroll and Thomson, died peacefully Thursday, July 3, 2014, at Peaceful and Comfort Assisted Living Home in Mesa.
He was born Nov. 3, 1920, the son of Anna (Wacker) Richter and John W. Richter.
He graduated from Mount Carroll High School with the Class of 1938.
He married Erma L. Marth and later married Maxene Sack.
He is survived by his wife; daughters, Anita (Bob) Grimm of Mount Carroll and Rita (Lester) Mitchell of Thomson; step-daughter, Dora Jean Landon of Letts, Iowa; step-son, Konrad (Donnell) Sack of Mount Carroll; a brother, Glen (Gladys) Richter of Mount Carroll; 13 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Don, and a sister, Mary Jean.
