Wilmer Floyd Reisig, 84, of Hardin passed away Sept. 13, 2014, in the Big Horn County Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 18, 1930, in Sidney, a son of Jacob and Magdalen (Zilg) Reisig. He received his education at Sidney, graduating from Sidney High School. Wilmer married Anna Arlene Hendrickson on Oct. 23, 1948.
Wilmer farmed through 1966, in Sidney. Even though he was out of agriculture, he loved to view grain and beet trucks that traveled by Heritage Acres in the fall. He always asked about the cattle and the highlight was to attend the family’s annual bull sale. His greatest accomplishment was helping build five First Alliance Churches, Sidney, Great Falls, Belgrade, Casper and Hardin. He sometimes filled the pulpit when necessary. His faith was very important to him and he loved to talk about it.
His parents, sisters Lydia, Nita, Velma and Bernice and brothers Richard, Henry and Walter, preceded Wilmer in death.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Arlene Reisig; his daughter, Willeen (Jim) Huttinga; his sons, David (Wanda), Donald (Ovida), Darryl (Sophie), Duane and Daniel (Heather) Reisig; his sisters, Helen Kerner and JoAnn (Robert) Bryant; 18 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
We wish to extend a special thank you to the entire staff of Heritage Acres and the Big Horn County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Bullis Funeral Chapel.

Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery. Bullis Mortuary has been entrusted with the arrangements

Memorials can be given to the First Alliance Church or charity of your choice.
