Fred Kaluza Last Rites at Harlem Today
Frank Kaluza, 80, prominent Harlem old timer, died Tuesday at a Havre hospital. Services were today at St. Thomas Catholic Church, Harlem. Burial was in Calvary cemetery, Havre.
Kaluza was born March 31, 1882, in Opole, Germany. He moved to Browerville, Minn., at the age of seven and came to Montana in 1898. He married Mary Gaida at Browerville, Nov. 25, 1906. They lived in the Savoy and Harlem area and he was a section foreman for the Great Northern Railway until retiring in 1952.
Surviving are his widow; daughters, Mrs. Mark P. O'Loughlin, Great Falls, and Mrs. Carl Thronson, Harlem; a sister, Mrs. Agnes Jacubik, Browerville; two brothers, Jake and Sam, Havre; and five grandchildren.
