Joseph B. Bellinder, May 29, 1926 - May 6, 2003. You Will Al ways Be In Our Hearts. A Chatsworth, California resident, age 76.

Joseph had attended Kansas State University, where he had played football. During WWII he served in the Navy as a Minesweeper. He was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus, and a 4th Degree Past Grand Knight. Joseph had worked as a Wholesale Grocery Buyer.

He is survived by his wife of nearly 56 years, Catherine L. Bellinder; children, Ronald Bellinder of Simi Valley, California, Michael Bellinder of Redlands, California, Lana Spicer of San Antonio, Texas, and Debra Greene of Burbank, California; sisters, Angie Coffman of Wamego, Kansas, and Elizabeth Bellinder of San Bernardino, California; ten grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 11, 2003, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Bastian & Perrott Mortuary. Funeral Mass on Monday, May 12, 2003, 11:00 a.m., at St. John Eudes Catholic Church. Interment at San Fernando Mission Cemetery. Reception following Services.

In lieu of flo wers, donations can be made to the City of Hope, 1500 E. Duarte Rd., Duarte, CA 91010-3000. Bastian & Perrott Mortuary, Northridge (818) 886-8600.
