Mrs. Rosa Affolter O'Brien, 86, widow of Michael O'Brien, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry L. Jones, 628 Parry Street, Sunday.
She was born in Westerville March 10, 1858, daughter of the late Albert and Rosena Schaffer Affolter Sr. of Lee Center. Mr. O'Brien died in 1916.
Surviving besides the daughter at whose home she died, are two other daughters, Mrs. John C. Schantz, wife of Mayor Schantz, and Mrs. Edward Price, one son, James O'Brien, Floyd, one sister, Miss Lillian Affolter, Rome, and one granddaughter, Miss Margaret Jones, Rome. There are also several nephews and nieces.
Mrs. O'Brien had been a resident of Rome for 41 years.
