Kahn was born July 19, 1926, to Adolf and Bertha Kneifel Deckert in Henning, Minn. She also lived in St. Paul, Minn., Los Angeles and Tigard before moving to Eugene in 1990.
She graduated from Harding High School in St. Paul in 1944. She later worked as a cosmetologist and in the banking industry. She enjoyed cutting hair, sewing and mending, working crossword puzzles and her grandchildren's activities.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol Mosman of Eugene; two brothers, Carl Deckert of Henning, Minn., and Harold Deckert of Buena Park, Calif.; two sisters, Alvina Ibsen of Goleta, Calif., and Laura Ruoff, of Norwalk, Calif.; and three grandchildren.
Tuesday's funeral will be at 2 p.m. at Central Lutheran Church, with burial to follow at Rest-Haven Memorial Park in Eugene. Rest-Haven Memorial Park & Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to PanCAN, an organization dedicated to finding a cure for pancreatic cancer.
