Emil Schnaidt, 67 years of age, Beulah, died Sunday, May 20, at the Mandan Hospital.
He was born July 20, 1911 at Beulah to George Schnaidt and Caroline Burkhardt.
He was reared and attended scools (sic) in the Beulah area and married Frieda Fischer on April 28, 1940 at Beulah. They farmed north Beulah until 1942 when they moved to Beulah. He then worked for Knife River Coal Co. for 11 years, and from 1953 to 1974 he held various construction jobs up until his retirement.
He is survived by his widow of Beulah; two sons, Larry and Delton, both of Beulah; one daughter: Mrs. Stanely (Rose Marie) Kuk of Sacramento, CA; four brothers: Rudolph and Carl of Beulah, Adam of Oregon, Reinhold of Washington; and one sister: Mrs. Henry (Martha) Flessner, of Illinois; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two infant sons, four sisters, and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 24, at 10:30 a.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church of Beulah, with Rev. Reinhold Markwart officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Milton Flemmer, Floyd Weigum, Walter Koehler, Fred Voegele, Clem Becker and Norman Richau.
