Jenny (Jane) Vinke (= Finch) was born in January 1857 in the village of Dolton, located just immediately south of the city limits of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, daughter of Gerrit Vinke and Johanna Westerhof, both born in the northwestern part of the Dutch eastern province Overijssel. Her parents married on 11 August 1852 in Zalk en Veecaten, Overijssel, Netherlands. She was named for her parental grandmother Jentje van den Berg.

Jane Vinke married on 29 June 1876 in Hyde Park, Cook County, Illinois at the age of 19 years to the five years older John Kleinhuizen, who had Dutch parents too. Hyde Park is a neighborhood and community area on the South Side of Chicago. It is located on the shore of Lake Michigan, seven miles (11 km) south of the Chicago Loop.

* Gerdina (Christine) Kleinhuizen, b. 25 Aug 1895, Chicago, Illinois, d. 17 Feb 1997, South Holland, Illinois;
* Charles Kleinhuizen, b. 16 Jul 1897, Roseland, Illinois, d. 20 Jul 1897, Roseland, Illinois.
* Charles J Sr Kleinhuizen, b. 26 Sep 1898, Roseland, Illinois, d. 01 May 1986, Portage, Michigan.

In 1880 Jane (24 y, born in Illinois), her husband John Clyenhousen (27, Netherlands, carpenter), their children Margret (3, Illinois), Garit (0, Illinois), her brothers Albert Vinke (18, Illinois, laborer) and John Vinke (26, Illinois, laborer) were living in the Dutch truck farmers settlement of Roseland, nowadays a southern district of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.

In June 1900 Jona (41, born in January 1859 [must be: 43, January 1857] in Illinois, mother of 1 deceased and 7 living children), her husband Jon Kleinhuizen (Kleinhenzer, 49, April 1851 [must be: 1852], Holland, immigrated in 1868, 24 y married, xxx dealer), their children Maggie (33, May 1867 [must be: 22, May 1878), Garrett (21, August 1879), Albert (15, December 1885), Henry (12, February 1888), Josie (8, September 1892), Claudina (5, August 1895) and Chas (2, August 1898) were living at a rented home at 204 113th Street in Calumet Township, in Ward 34 of [South] Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. All children were born in Illinois.

In 1910 Jane (52 y, born in Illinois), her husband John K Kleinhuizen (57, Holland), their children Margaret J (32, Illinois), Henry J (22, Illinois), Johanna J (17, Illinois), Christin S (14, Illinois) and Charles J (11, Illinois) were living in Ward 33 of Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.

In 1920 Jane (62), her husband John Kleinhuizen (67) and their daughter Johanna (27) were living in Ward 9 of Chicago.

In July 1927 her husband, estimator (taxateur) John Kleinhuizen died at the age of 75 years in Chicago's southern district Roseland, Cook County, Illinois.

In 1930 Jane Kleinhuizen (73, widow) was living at the home of her daughter Christine E Huizenga (35) and of her husband Henry Huizenga (38, Illinois), with their children Robert (10, Illinois) and Joan Margaret (4, Illinois)

Widow Jane died in August 1945 at the age of 88 years in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois.
