Gust Anderson, Huntington Park, Cal., a former resident of Rock Island, died Wednesday in his home, according to word received by Edith Kjellberg, 2450 Thirtieth street, Rock Island, a niece. Mr. Anderson was employed for a number of years by the Moline Furniture works. He moved to California in 1940.
He was born April 26, 1869, in Sweden. He married Esther Sanden Sept. 29, 1900, in Rock Island. Mrs. Anderson preceded him in death.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ebba Nelson; a son, Floris Anderson, and a granddaughter, Marilyn Nelson, all of California.
The body will be brought to Knox mortuary in Rock Island for funeral services. Burial will be in Rock Island.
