Lombard resident Lorraine C. Straka, nee Lewis, 81, died Dec. 14, 2006, in St. Alexius Medical Center, Hoffman Estates.
Mass was celebrated Dec. 16 in St. Pius X Church, Lombard. Interment was in St Adalbert Cemetery, Niles.
A resident of Lombard since 1985, Mrs. Straka had been employed at Von Maur in Yorktown. She had been a motorcycle police woman in Cicero and retired as secretary to the chief of the Cicero Police Department.
Survivors include two sons, Robert (Colleen) and Raymond (Susan); three grandchildren, Gina Jira, Steven Straka and Lauren Straka; two great-grandchildren; three sisters, Lorette Ledvort, Ella Federhoff and Nancy Lewis; and her brother, Bob Lewis.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Kopp.
Arrangements were handled by Brust Funeral Home, Lombard.
