Charles Frank, 56, passed away at 7:25 p.m. yesterday at his home, 837 Sixth street. Mr. Frank was born Feb. 26, 1877 in Austria [Langreut, Lower Bavaria, Germany; baptized in Bischofsreut] and came to America at the age of 4 years, settling in Kansas. When 12 years old he came to Oshkosh and had resided here since.
He was married in 1901 to Miss Anna Miller, who survives him. Other survivors are six sons, Leonard, Albert, Charles Jr., Herman, Joseph and George Frank, all of Oshkosh; three daughters, Miss Hariette, Miss Dorothy and Miss Mary Frank, all of this city, and one grandson. Two sisters, Mrs. Charles Pable of Milwaukee and Mrs. Herman Schmultz [Schmalz] of this city, and three brothers, Joseph, John and Ferdinand Frank, all of this city.
Funeral services will be Wednesday morning at 8 o'clock at St Vincent's Catholic church and interment will be at Riverside cemetery.
