The Daily Northwestern (Oshkosh, WI) Friday, 13 Apr 1900, page six, column one:
Joseph Frank died Thursday afternoon at his home, 403 Seventh street. Death was due to a complication of diseases. He was fifty-seven years of age. Besides a widow, the following children survive: Joseph Frank, Jr., John Frank, Louis Frank, Charles Frank, Tony Frank, Miss Elizabeth Frank, Annie Frank, Mrs. Charles Pable and Mrs. Ernst Herzog, all of this city. The funeral will be held Saturday morning at ten o'clock from St. Vincent's church on Oregon street.
