MILLER - On Monday, July 23, 1934, at 12:45 p.m., at his home in Glenville, G. F. W. Miller, husband of Manerva Tracy Miller, aged 77 years, 11 months and 16 days.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral from the above residence on Thursday, July 26, at 9:30 a.m. Concluding services at Stone Church. Interment in adjoining cemetery.
Body may be viewed at his late home Wednesday evening, 7 to 9.

Furniture Dealer And Retired Funeral Director Passes Away

FUNERAL ON THURSDAY

Glenville, July 23 - G. F. W. Miller, furniture dealer at this place, and a retired undertaker, died at his home today at 12:45 p.m. Death was caused by a stroke of paralysis, which he suffered three weeks ago. He was aged 77 years, 11 months and 16 days.
Besides his wife, Manerva Tracy Miller, he leaves a son, Malden T. Miller, this place; a daughter, Ruth E. Miller, at home; a sister, Miss Lamanda Miller, Brodbeck; and two grandchildren, Malden and Dorothy Miller, this place.
Mr. Miller was in the undertaking and furniture business for 56 years. Eleven years ago he sold the undertaking part of the business to George W. Geiple and Son, of Glen Rock, continuing in the furniture business until the time of his death.
He started his trade when he was 18 years old, under David Hedrick, at New Freedom. He worked four years with Mr. Hedrick, after which he went in business. He was a life-long member of the Reformed congregation of Stone Church.
The funeral will be held Thursday with brief services at his late home at 9:30 a.m., followed by further services at Stone Church, with interment in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Dr. Paul D. Yoder, pastor of the Jefferson Reformed charge, will officiate. Funeral Director George W. Geiple and Son, of Glen Rock, have charge of arrangements.

MILLER OBSEQUIES HELD AT GLENVILLE

Glenville, July 26 - Many relatives and friends today attended the funeral of G. F. W. Miller, furniture dealer and retired undertaker, who died at his home here on Monday afternoon.
After brief services at his late home at 9:30 a.m., concluding services were held at Stone Church. Interment was made in the adjoining cemetery. Rev. Dr. Paul D. Yoder, pastor of the Jefferson Reformed charge, officiated.
The pallbearers were: Maurice Trone, John Markle, William Miller, Earl Smith, George Krebs and David Rinehart.
