Millowee “Mickey” Bumgarner, 86, of Amarillo died Monday, Oct. 20, 2014.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel of Memories with T.C. Messer officiating. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery North Mausoleum. Arrangements are by Memorial Park Funeral Home, 6969 E. Interstate 40.
Mickey was born April 28, 1928, in Murfreesboro, Ark., to Clyde and Maude Boyd. She married Maurice Bumgarner Sr. on Oct. 31, 1942, in Arkansas. They moved to Amarillo in 1945. Mickey retired from K-Mart after more than 15 years of service. She love to spend time in her garden and loved her flowers. Mickey loved her family and took pride in taking care of all of them. She was a member of the Pentecostal church and above all, she loved her Lord. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three sons, Maurice Bumgarner Jr., Ronnie Bumgarner and Jerry Bumgarner; a daughter, Donna Kirby; a grandchild; and a great-
grandchild.
Survivors include a daughter, Joan Hadder of Amarillo; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
The family would like to extend a sincere thanks to Craig Methodist Retirement Community for their loving care for Mickey.
