---Obituary: Ella Lantz
-A Graveside Service for Ella Lantz, 94, Clinton will be held 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 12, 2012 in the Clinton Cemetery Pavilion, officiated by Rev Buck Nicholson and under the direction of Kiesau-Lee Funeral Home.
-Ella Nora (Heintz) Kempf-Lantz was born November 23, 1917 to William and Doradea [sic] (Kampf) Heintz in Clinton, Oklahoma and passed away Friday, September 8, 2012 in the presence of her children at the Grace Living Center in Clinton, Oklahoma.
-Ella was raised in Custer County and attended various country schools in which she usually had to walk miles everyday to and from school. She grew up in the country and being a quiet, private and sensitive soul, she developed a strong indestructible passion and love for animals. If you conversed with her for any period of time it was quiet evident that she did and this continued throughout her whole life.
-She was married to Otto Kempf in 1934. At a young age she developed a strong work ethic and this quality she passed on to her children by example. Ella began her working career at the Clinton Laundry and Cleaners and the Oklahoma General Hospital kitchen. She then was employed in various retail stores, among them being, Mc Lellans, Simon's Department Store, Guys and Dolls Clothing, the Kellwood Factory as well as JC Penny Store where she retired in 1982.
-She married Chester Lantz August 1974 and they continued to make their home in Clinton.
-She was one that had to stay busy and when she was not doing yard work, cooking and baking she taught herself how to sew, quilt and crochet.
-She was preceded in death by her parents, her children's father, Otto Kempf, husband Chester Lantz, son, Richard Kempf, grandson, Richard "Rick" Kincaid, son-in-law, Gordon Kincaid and brothers Otto, Fred, Andrew, Oscar, Dave and sisters, Margret, Othellia, Martha, Amelia, Emma, and Eryetha.
