-Services Sunday for Dora Schafer
-Funeral servcies for Dora Schafer, long-time Clinton resident, will be held at 2 pm Sunday in the Peace Lutheran Church at Bessie with Rev Karl Fullgrabe, pastor, officiating.
-Burial will be in the Peace Lutheran Cemetery at Bessie.
-Mrs Schafer, 88, died Thursday evening in Oklahoma General Hospital following an illness of several weeks.
-Born in Russia, she came to Custer County in 1910. She had lived in Washita and Custer counties since that time. She was a member of the Lutheran Church.
-Survivors include four daughters, Mrs Othellia Fergus and Mrs Emma King, both of Salinas, Calif; Mrs Charles Mayberry, Oklahoma City; Mrs Ella Kempf, Clinton; two sons, Andrew Buffing and Oscar Buffing, both of Bessie; 21 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.Born 9 July 1874, Beresina, Bessarabia, Russia
