David F. Neider, 66, of Torrington died Oct. 19 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Cheyenne.
He was born March 29, 1948, in Torrington to Orval and Esther (Herdt) Neider.
He graduated a semester early from Torrington High in order to enlist in the U.S. Navy. He served his country for three tours in Vietnam.
He married Angie (Mansoldo) in May 1970. Mr. Neider worked for John Deere and retired from the National Resource Conservation District after 22 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Angie Neider; his sons, Terry Neider of Windsor, Calif., and Tony Neider of Cheyenne; two grandchildren; sister, Sandi Yorges; and many other extended family members.
Mr. Neider was preceded in death by his parents.
