Esther M. Neider died July 7, 2011 at Community Hospital in Torrington, Wyoming.
Esther was born March 10, 1926 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska the daughter of David and Marie (Ziegler) Herdt. At an early age she moved with her family to a farm near Huntley, Wyoming where she grew up and attended school. On May 21, 1944 she married Orval Neider in Torrington, Wyoming. They farmed in the Lingle, Wyoming area and in the Cherry Creek area. The couple later moved to a small farm east of Torrington. In 1964 she started working in the laundry at Goshen County Memorial Hospital. She worked there for over twenty years.
Esther enjoyed crocheting, baking, and gardening.
Esther is survived by a daughter Sandra Yorges and her husband Ralph of Wheatland, Wyoming; a son David Neider and his wife Angie of Torrington, Wyoming; a sister Helen Maul and a brother Ed Herdt and his wife Meryl all of Torrington; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Orval; two sisters; and four brothers.
