John,a Traverse City resident most of his life died at the Grand Traverse Medical Care Facility in Traverse City.
He was a licensed practical nurse, he retired from the Traverse City Regional Psychiatric Hospital in 1968.
John married Mamie J. Stewart on June 6,1924 in Gaylord,MI.
They had nine children, six are deceased: (2014)
Jane, Robert,Leonard,Mildred,Arlaine and Florence.
Florence Loucks is buried at Arlington National Cemetery.
Leonard is buried in New Mexico (did not recognize mother's name given)
He was an infrequent visitor to Michigan, and his wife may never remembered Leonard's mother's name.
Jane I believe died in Virginia.not too far from Robert .
He was also preceded in death by two grandchildren and two great grandchildren, brothers Adam,Steve and Vencel ;and sisters Sophia Jackson and Genevieve Solem.
