ELKTON, MD. -- Walter John Gulley, 75, of 1161 Appleton road died Wednesday, April 15, 1992, in Laurelwood Nursing Home after a three month illness. He was born Feb. 23, 1917, in Port Huron and had lived in Elkton since 1962. He married Rose Laber Sept. 3, 1954, in Port Huron.

Mr. Gulley was employed at Chrysler Corp. in Newark, Del. prior to his retirement.

He is survived by his wife, Rose; a son, Kent Gulley of Kenneth City, Fla; four grandchildren, a stepson, Daniel W. Vale of Columbus, Ohio; a sister Helen B. Cornwell of Port Huron and several nieces and nephews.

Services are 2 p.m. Monday in the Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. The Rev. Edwin G. Mendenhall of St. John's United Church of Christ will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery.
