Christine Becker Liebig, 79, of Lodi, died Saturday in a local hospital following a long illness.
A native of Russia, she came to the United States with her parents in 1900 at the age of nine weeks. They settled in Ashley, N.D., and she grew up there and married Otto Becker in 1922. They came to Lodi in 1941 and Becker died nine years later. She remarried in 1953 to Jacob P. Liebig in Lodi.
She was a member of the Colonial Foursquare Church.
She is survived by her husband, Jacob P. Liebig of Lodi; her son Leonard Becker of Lodi; her daughter, Gloria Keszler of Fair Oaks; her sisters, Katherine Fraszer of Lodi; Lydia Ehley of Bismarck, N.D. and Esther Hales of Tremonton, Utah; her brother, John Rau of Ashley; her step-daughter, Louranda May Elliott; her stepsons, Wilfred Neal Liebig and David Liebig; and her five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
