Alois Ruder, 70, 1708 Ash, died Saturday at St. Anthony Hospital where he had been the past week. A retired farmer, he was a lifetime Ellis County resident.
Survivors include his wife, Rosa; two sons, Victor, Arvada, Colo., Vernon, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Ted Dinges, Hays, Mrs. George Nemecek, Horronville, Wis., Miss Esther Ruder, at home; 13 grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Amelia Leiker, Hays, Mrs. Tom Brull, Hays.
Services were at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Church. Burial was in the church cemetery. Brock North Hill Chapel had charge.
