Bertrand - Angela R. Kean, 85 years old, of Bertrand, died Monday at the Bertrand Retirement Center.
She was born Apr. 15, 1909, in Charleston, the daughter of Michael H. and Mary E. Carlisle Halter.
She and James A. Kean were married Nov. 14, 1939. He died July 12, 1985.
Mrs. Kean was a member of St. Henry's Catholic Church in Charleston.
Survivors include four brothers, Ivo, Charles, Martin and Norbert Halter; four sisters, Louise Harlan, Marcella Garstka, Cecilia Thompson and Mary Stricker.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.
A funeral mass will be held Thursday at St. Henry's Church. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery near Charleston.
