Anthony Koegel, 56, for many years a painter and decorator in Liverpool, died there at his home, 604 First Street, yesterday afternoon, following an illness of nearly two years. Mr. Koegel was born in Syracuse but moved to Liverpool 31 years ago. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Catherine Staub Koegel; five sons, Anthony, John, Charles, Joseph and Frederick Koegel; two daughters, Miss Anna Koegel and Mrs. August Schout; a brother, Joseph Koegel, and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the home Tuesday morning at 9 o’clock and a half hour later at St. Joseph’s Church, Liverpool. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.
