Raymond Bloch
Raymond Bloch passed away on Nov. 18, 2007, at home. Raymond Bloch was born in April 25, 1930, on his family’s farm in the Elm Creek Community. After enjoying his farm life he went on to serve in the Texas National Guard. Later on he did woodworking, which led to opening his own business of chain link fencing. He married Lydia Neumann on July 17, 1954. They had four children. After 50 years of chain link fencing he retired in January 2007. He is preceded in death by his daughter Judy Vader in Sept. 2007, eight brothers and one sister and two grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Lydia, daughter Beverly Funderburg and husband Norman, sons Billy Bloch and wife Bobbie, Brian Bloch and wife Stephanie, also survived by 12 grandchildren. Memorial tributes may be made on line at www.mem.com . Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the charity of your choice. Visitation will be at Goetz Funeral home on Friday, Nov. 23, from 3-9 p.m. Service will be on Saturday, Nov. 24, at 10 a.m. in the Goetz Memorial Chapel with interment to follow in the Warncke Family Cemetery.
