Bernie L. Bloch passed away on November 16, 2015, at 87 years of age. He was born on May 8, 1928 in Guadalupe County, TX, to Amandus and Lillie (Warncke) Bloch. In 1952, Bernie married the love of his life and is survived by La Donna J. Davis.
He is loved and will be greatly missed by his wife of 62 years, La Donna Bloch; daughters, Linda Fischer and husband Frank, Betty Maultsby, and Joyce Miller; grandchildren, Clinton Fischer, Brandon Fischer, Christy Rohlf, Heather Bales, Travis Miller, and Megan Miller; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm at Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia, TX. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 10:00 am at Immanuel Lutheran Church in La Vernia with interment following at Warncke Cemetery. Dr. Robert Palan will be Officiant of the services.
